A black human-sized robot known as Frenzy - one of the many decepticons- ran through a cavern quickly, snickering to himself. He made a hardturn, sliding somewhat across the sand. Right behind him was a white police car; it made a hard turn slowly catching up with the decepticon. Frenzy jumped over a rock and pulled out a red cloth with something inside of it, "I hope ThunderCracker is ready to take off!" then he tripped on a small rock and tumbled to the ground. The car stopped and transformed, it was Prowl, one of the officers from the Autobots. His optics flashed and he gripped the red cloth wrapped over the item, "Now Frenzy? What are you trying to hide from me, hmm?" Prowl took the red cloth off the item, reveling a somewhat large greenish blue crystal; It glowed in Prowl's hand brightly. Frenzy got up and jumped up for the Crystal, "You going to regret doing that Autobot!""I think not Frenzy." Prowl backed-hand the small decepticon right into the wall of the cavern. Frenzy fell to the ground as Prowl transformed and took off in the other direction. "Now to get this back to base so Wheeljack and the others can look it over."
Back at the Ark, Wheeljack was giving the crystal a good look over. He looked up at Prowl and Optimus, then shrugged his shoulders, "It seems like a normal crystal to me. Nothing strange about it, other than the glow."
Prowl raised a eye ridge, "Are you sure? The Decepticons wouldn't want that for any reason. I mean, there has to be something about it, right?"
"Nope. Nothing at all. It is just a glowing greenish blue crystal." Wheeljack said as he covered it up. Optimus folded his arms over his chest and pondered for a moment, "Yes, it might be a crystal, but the decepticons would want it for a purpose." Just as Optimus finished his statement Jazz walked into the room and laughed a little, "Maybe they want it for its all around beauty."
"I doubt that Jazz," Optimus responded. "I'm sure there is a reason, but we might have to dig harder into figuring out what it is." He walked out of the room; Prowl sighed and followed.
Jazz walked over to Wheeljack and pulled the cloth cover up to get a little peek of the crystal, "Well I think it would make a nice piece of jewelry or trophy." He said jokingly.
"Jewelry? What would decepticons want that for?"
Jazz laughed as he put the cover back down and took a pose, "So they can look wonderful and make themselves look like a million dollars." Jazz laughed again and placed his hands on his hips. Wheeljack shook his head and walked to the door. He looked back at Jazz who was following, "You know Jazz, only you could come up with a dumb line like that."
"Well I was trying to be a bit more Earthling like, you know."
"Maybe you should be human, then you could get a close up with what you like the most."
"If that happened, Wheeljack, then I wish we all would be human."
"O and why is that?"
"So I can share my enjoyment with everyone else!" Jazz walked out of the room, snickering softly. Wheeljack sighed and walked out as well, but know one realized the crystal's strange behavior after Jazz said the word wish; it was glowing brighter then ever and then flashed as the two of them walked out.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next morning, something strange had happen, to the Autobots, and the first to find out, well, was Jazz.
"What the Slag?!" Was the first word out of the operations officers mouth as he awoke. His room was larger, his bed was bigger and he was smaller. He looked around very confused; he raised an eyebrow and then his eye twitched.
He looked down at his hands and saw flesh. He went silent and then slowly opened his mouth in awe and wander of how this happened, along with fear. He looked himself over and notice his visor on the table next to his bed, it was the same but larger. He crawled over to it and stared at his reflection. He had semi-dark skin, black hair with white streaks through it. He had on a white shirt, and leather pants. But he was also bare-footed. His eyes where deep blue, the same color as the sea. His body was nicely muscular toned, showing what seemed to be years of military training to a human eye, or working out in a gym for a long time. He closed his eyes and then looked up. "O by Primus, tell me this is a bad dream. Yes this is all a bad dream." He took in a deep breath and then reopened his eyes and everything was the same it was when he woke up. "Slag!!!" He went to the edge of the bed and slid off, rolled on the ground and got back up. "I hope the rest of the base isn't like this!" He ran to the door and luckily it still opened. He ran down the hall barefooted and moving quickly. He slowed down for a moment to catch he breath after being in a run for about an hour. He huffed and puffed a little trying to catch his breath.
"The Ark sure is bigger when your home sized. Man, on top of that, it harder to get anywhere, no wheels." He ran down the hall again wondering what else was going to happen, and how much longer would it take to get to the next room, witch happened to be Prowl's.
Jazz finally made it to Prowl's room in less than two hours, he walked in, huffing n' puffing. Prowl was human as well, he was setting on the edge of the bed repeating something over and over again; He had a small piece of cloth around him hiding most of his features. Jazz looked up and sighed. "Prowl! Hey Prowl! You okay?!"
"Jazz?" Prowl looked down at Jazz. "You’re human too?! O by Primus what kinda curse is this?!" Prowl hid himself more in the cloth. Jazz sighed and shook his head, then looked back up, "Prowl," His voice sounding a bit upset at the cowering Autobot. "Get down here, will ya. You’re a disgrace to all of us, cowering up there like a baby. I'm sure this will all end up good at the end."
"No it wont! There can be no good from this! This is a Curse I tell you!"
"You’re letting emotion over-ride your intelligence man. Now come down here before I throw something at you, and it wont be soft either!"
"Like what?" Prowl soon got his answer as he got hit in the head by a piece of small rock that Jazz found hidden in the panels of the metal floor. "Hey that hurt!" Prowl protested.
"Then get you butt down here before I find some more to throw at you!"
"Fine! I'll come down, just not more throwing stuff at me." Prowl took the cloth off of him. He was wearing an off-white sleeve-less shirt with a black vest over it. His pants where white blue jeans and he we also bare-footed. His eyes where lighter than Jazz's though and his skin had a light tan to it, like he needed more sun. His hair was a light brown that was short cut and well groomed. Jazz mumbled under his sigh, "Brother" as Prowl slid down. He looked at Jazz and Jazz stared back at him. Prowl was a bit shorter than Jazz and was bugged by it, it was shown when Prowl stood on his tiptoes to make himself taller. Jazz poked him to make him jump back and stand straight again, "Come on, we better cheek on the others."
About one o' clock P.M., all the Autobots where standing around, and all of them where human. A fiery-red head was leaning against the wall, he had on tight blue jeans, a white shirt and a red leather jacket, he, like this others, was also bare-footed. His skin was nicely tanned and he had a very handsome face, along with the body to match, this was Optimus Prime, the Autobot commander. He looked towards the rest of the group talking about how they where going to find away to reverse this. He sighed slightly and walked out infront of the group. "Everyone, please calm down. I'm sure there is some way to get back to being transformer. Till then, we best get use to being like this." The Autobots did silence slightly and then someone questioned this, "But what about the Ark and the Decepticons. We can't handle them like this, can we?" Optimus rubbed his chin in thought and the answered the question. "Most likely the Decepticons are not better off then we are, so they too will probably be human. If so, then they might cause more trouble. But Teletran 1 can handle the Ark till we get a handle of things."
The day went on and Optimus was correct, the decepticons where also humans and all ready starting to make use of it, since they now could walk on the streets; but so could the Autobots. What made both sides stand out from one another was several different things; this being their strength, speed, endurance, hearing, sight, there symbols that seemed burnt into there skin, eye color, and there attitude.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jazz, Prowl, Optimus leaned against a wall wondering who was going to be sent out to the city and try to see if they could spot decepticons, so far it seemed it would only be the three of them since the rest of the Autobots couldn't get hold of things.A man walked in, looked to be around his late thirties, wearing a cowboy hat, white sleeveless shirt, brown leather vest, and tight blue jeans with a black leather belt tightly buckled. His eyes where a true blue color and he had a slight grin on his face; this was Ironhide. "Hey Optimus! You looking for someone to come along, right? I'll be the other guy!" He chuckles and walks over to his old friend. Optimus looks over at him with his eyes and nods his head, "Well since we now have four of us, I s’pose we can get going."
Prowl nodded, "Yes, four is a good number and is easy to keep up with."
Jazz looked over at the guys for a moment, "Yea four is nice, but I got a question."
Optimus raised a eye brow and Jazz smiled, "How are we going to get there? We don't have wheel remember? We are what humans call bare-foot!" as he says that he wiggles his toes. Optimus looks down at his own feet and sighs. Prowl rubs his chin and snaps his fingers, "I have a idea!"
The four walked out side the ark wearing cloth over there feet. Jazz was sighed as he looked up at the sun and then at the desert, he scratched his head, "This is going to be a long walk." Optimus looked over at him and walked forward; Prowl followed and Jazz just sighed again. Ironhide smiled at Jazz and gave him a pat on back, "Don't worry, it can't be that far. Maybe we can get someone to pick us up, neh?" Jazz grumbled and walked on. Ironhide shrugged his shoulders and somewhat marched whistling a little tune to himself.
The four had been walking for three hours, Jazz kept a slow pace, Ironhide was using his hat for a fan, Prowl whispering a Cybertronian pray to himself, and Optimus was wondering if this was such a great idea. Jazz walked over to Prowl and looked at him, "Now whose bright idea was it with the cloth shoes?" Prowl glared at Jazz and was getting ready to say something as they all heard the roar of a car engine go by. They all looked in that direction and went wide-eyed, other than Optimus who just smiled. The Three ran past Optimus, Jazz was in the lead, followed by Prowl, and in the end was Ironhide. Optimus shook his head and walked to where they heard the cars.
They sat on the side railing, in the shade, waiting for a car. It was quiet, and once again Prowl whispered his Cybertronian prayer. Jazz glanced over at Prowl with this very tired, hot, pathetic look on his face, "Look man, will you stop whispering. I don't think it's doing any good."
"It worked last time!" Prowl argued angrily.
Optimus glared at them both and like two children they silenced quickly; then just smiled. Ironhide looked both sides of the highway then he smiled, "Someone is coming!" Prowl and Jazz stood up quickly and looked in Ironhide's direction. Optimus sat up and looked, "A twenty year old girl driving a car?" Jazz gleamed happily; then smirked, "Driving a Convertible! A very pretty young twenty year old!"
Ironhide looked over at Jazz and shook his head, "Hold you horses boy, she might bite.""I hope so!" Jazz said happily. Prowl glanced over at him and raised an eyebrow; then Jazz looked over at Prowl and shrugged his shoulders, "What?"
Prowl shook his head, "Nothing Jazz, nothing at all. You just worry me."
As the car came closer Jazz jumped out in the middle of the street and waved his arms jumping up and down. The car stopped and Jazz smiled, "Hello Miss, uh look, think you can give us a ride, we don't have a car or anything. We also don't really have any good shoes and we been out here with out water for about four hours. Please, think you could take use to the nearest place we could get some water and maybe another ride?"
The young twenty year looked At Jazz then over at his friends who where just smiling, Optimus just did a quick grin and then back to a straight face. The lady had dark brown hair pulled back in a ponytail that went down to her mid back. She had on sunglasses that hid her eyes. She was wearing a white shirt and a pair of blue jean shorts. She pulled off her sunglasses and looked at Jazz. He tried to give her the best smile he could give, even though he looked horrible from the long walk. She looked him up and down; then sighed, "All right, get in the car, you three can fight over the backseat and you," She points her shades at Jazz, "Sit next to me." Jazz nodded and jumped in the car. The others got in and did somewhat fight over the backseat.
As they drove to the nearest stop witch happen to be in the city, Jazz sat back and enjoyed himself. He caught himself glancing over at the young lady everyone know and then and cleared his throat slightly, "Excuse Miss but we never really caught your name, who might you be?"
"My name is Kristine, and you don't need to know my last name." She smirked. Jazz just smiled back and then grinned, "My name is," He paused for a moment trying to think of a new name other than his own. She glanced over at him waiting for him to finish, "Well?" Jazz bit his lower lip and smiled, He got ready to open his mouth and Optimus cut in, "You see Kristine, this is a bit hard to explain but we are the Autobots," The car came to a screeching halt; Jazz slapped his forehead and mumbled about Optimus screwing up his chance. Kristine looked at Optimus; "You have to be joking. You're the Autobots? Ha! Don't make me laugh, prove it!" Optimus nodded his head and hopped out of the car. He walked to the front of it and tapped the hood. He looked up at her and then smirked, "Watch and believe." He took his one hand under the front bumper and lifted up, as he lifted his arm he easily lifted the car with passengers included. Kristine went wide-eyed and Jazz slumped in his chair hoping this would soon end. Optimus let the car go back down gently and then got back in. Kristine sighed, "Okay, okay, so you’re the Autobots, I guess. Then who does that make you three?" Prowl smirked, "I'm Prowl! Second in Command."
"I'm Ironhide and the guy who lifted the car is our Commander, Optimus Prime."Jazz smiled sweetly at Kristine, "I'm Jazz, operation officer of the Autobots, pleasure to meet ya."
Kristine shook her head and drove on, she glanced back over at Jazz, "Okay so your Jazz. Interesting and why may I ask, do you keep smiling at me?" Jazz laughed nervously and then looked away; slightly blushing. Prowl looked over at Jazz and smiled; Jazz glared at Prowl, "Say a word and I'll kill you!" Ironhide just cracked up laughing.
They arrived at the city that she was going to and she sighed slightly, "You guys don't have any money on you, do you?"
Optimus Prime raised a eye brow, "I'm afraid we don't."
"Great, okay. Look, I'll buy you some cloths and get you some extra cash for a hotel or something to stay at along with a taxi cab to get around." She ponders for a moment; "Do you guys even know what money is?"
Prowl shook his head. "No, but we do know what credits are."
Jazz spoke up; "I know how to use the green paper. I studied human culture long enough that I understand most of the stuff. If it's all right with Optimus, I'll handle the dough!"
Optimus raises his eye brow again, "Dough? Hmm, yes, go ahead Jazz." Optimus was still trying to figure out why humans would call money dough.
Kristine pulls to a large store that has everything that deals with fashion. "My father is the mayor of this city, So I should have no trouble getting anything you guys want, just don't get crazy."
The four nodded and hopped out, they walked inside. Jazz got to the door before Kristine did; opened it for her. She smiled at Jazz and walked in. Jazz just grinned to himself and followed her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Four men where walking down the ally, these where the decepticons. There eyes were red, there clothing were somewhat dirty, There skin was pale white, and like the Autobots, the had cloth around their feet. The largest on them had dark brown hair, bowl cut hairstyle, and was wearing a light gray shirt with dark gray cargo pants; this was Megatron, decepticon commander. The one standing next to him was skinnier, not as muscular as the commander was; he also seemed the youngest out of the group. His hair was black, cut short with wild curls in it. He wore a white shirt and a pair of somewhat loose blue jeans; this was ThunderCracker, youngest of the decepticon brothers. Next to him was a tall semi-muscular guy. He wore a Red shirt and a pair of tight blue jeans, that where slightly cut up. His hair was also black, went down to his mid shoulders, semi-curly, and was in a ponytail; this was Starscream, he was the middle child of the brothers. The last one was also semi-muscular, tall, and like the other two, had black hair. His hair went down to his lower back and was in a ponytail. He had a goatee and sharp red eyes, unlike the others. He wore a dark purple shirt and a pair of black loose cargo pants; this was SkyWarp.
Megatron walked to a door of a large building. Inside where many different kinds of clothing. They walked around to the back and unlocked the door. Starscream poked his head in and looked around, "It seems clear." He snuck in, followed by the others. Megatron stood outside and waited, "Hope those fools don't screw up or I'm going to make the scrap metal!"
They walked in from the back not noticed by the busy workers. They went looked at threw the cloths that where still backed away, quietly. They grabbed some hiking boots, several pairs of dark shades, and Starscream grabbed a black leather jacket. They snuck right back outside, once again no one noticed them, or so they thought. They where noticed by one person, or should be said one Autobot, Prowl.
Prowl glanced up as they snuck around the corner. He raised an eyebrow and shook his head, "It couldn't be? Could it?"
Iron hide glanced over at Prowl as he was looking over some belts, "What?"
"I thought I saw humans that looked similar to the decepticons."
"Most likely, your imagination."
"I guess." Prowl sighed and looked over the shoes. "But what happens if it was them."Ironhide shrugged his shoulders and he was measuring a belt to make sure it would fit him, "Just hope they don't blow up anything."
"Hmm." Prowl stated as Ironhide made his comment. He tried on a pair of sneakers and tied them.
Jazz and Kristine where over in the dressing room. Kristine leaned against the wall, "Out of everyone, you’re the only one who is really buying clothing, you know that? I mean you all ready have a set of military boots, sneakers, and sandals. Not to forget the six pairs of socks and black leather gloves. What are you going to do with those anyhow?"
Jazz laughed as he stepped out, "I'm going to cut the fingers off of them. How do I look?" He had a tight white shirt and a tight black leather pants. Kristine looked him over, walked behind him and stared for a moment, then walked back in front of him. Jazz gripped the silver-like-black, visor-looking, shades sitting with the pile of other things he was buying, and smirked as he looked up at her threw the shades, "Well?"
Kristine smiled, "You look very handsome."
Jazz smiled back and was getting ready to same something before Prowl walked over and interrupted him, "Jazz, where is Optimus?"
Jazz looked over at Prowl and shrugged his shoulders, "That is a good question, let me get the old stuff back on and we'll ask old Ironhide, he most likely knows where Prime is."
The three ran over to Ironhide, who was trying on a pair of snake-hide boots; Jazz was the first one to speak, "Ironhide, where is Optimus, Prowl said he was missing."
Ironhide looked up and took the boots off, "I think he went outside for awhile, he said he felt a bit stuffy in here."
"Stuffy?" Jazz looked over at Kristine; she sighed and too the guys stuff. Jazz raised an eyebrow; "I take it your going to get all that stuff bought while we go find Optimus, right?" She nodded her head. The three looked at one another and ran out of the store.
As they looked around outside, Optimus was no where, then voices where heard from around the corner. The three looked around to see what was going on. Several figures in the darkness could be seen; the three walked closer to get a better look. Optimus was one of the figures. His hands where tied behind his back and he ankles where tied. Starscream laughed as he poked Optimus Prime, "Trying to play hero human isn't the best thing to do. Now, you can either keep your mouth shut about all this or will skin your fleshling hide to the wall." Optimus narrowed his eyes, his eyes where staring right threw Starscream. This cause Starscream to back up and look confused, "Who, who are you?"
SkyWarp laughed, "What's wrong Starscream, the flesh creature sending shivers up your servos. Let me take a look." SkyWarp got the same look from Optimus and he also backed up, "It couldn't be! It couldn't slaggin be! Megatron!!!" SkyWarp ran over to where Megatron and ThunderCracker where trying on some new clothing, "Megatron, the human, it's..."
Megatron growled, "It's what?!"
"It's Optimus Prime! It doesn't look like him, but his eyes, his eyes," SkyWarp shivered slightly, "They are his, I know that look from anywhere, all might Megatron."
"And if that Is Optimus Prime," Megatron grins evilly, "Kill him, and than find the others, he never would be alone!" SkyWarp nodded his head and ran to where Starscream was.
When he got there Starscream was tied up and SkyWarp untied him, "What happened?""They ganged up on! I couldn't get them off of me!" Starscream said as he sneered.
Than a familiar laugh was heard above SkyWarp, and this being Jazz's laugh. SkyWarp stopped and looked up, to see a pair of feet coming down right on his face. Jazz knocked SkyWarp out and then gripped hold of Starscream shirt and yanked him forward, "Now be a good Decepticon and tell Megatron if he messes with our commander again, he is going to get his butt kicked by the number one Earthentoligest." Lets go of the shirt and heads to where the others are. Starscream looks down at SkyWarp who has still not recovered from the mighty blow of Jazz's feet.
Kristine drove to a hotel and smiled at them, "Here you guys can get a room, you might have to get separate ones, but I'm sure you all can make a good choice." The four nodded and got out. Kristine grasped Jazz's arm, "O and by the way Jazz, this is for you." She placed a small note in his hand and gave him a slight grin, than looked at the others. "Take care," She glanced over at Jazz, "Hopefully our paths meet again guys." She drove off, leaving Jazz with a grin on his Face. He looked down at the small note witch had her number on it, his grin got even wider. Prowl looked over his shoulder, "What do you have there Jazz? Hmm?"
Jazz glared at Prowl and turned around quickly to face him, closing his hand around the note to keep it hidden, "Nothing Prowl. At least no of your concern."
Optimus glanced over at the two and than over at Ironhide. They both picked up the clothing bags at walked to the hotel door. Jazz and Prowl looked over, seeing them both leaving them behind, they yelled at the same time, "Hey! Wait for us!!" They both ran after their commander.
